Sweet Jones Farms is making a difference in the local and surrounding communities. This fundraiser impacts the health in local communities by teaching kids and adults abroad on how to become farmers. We have a year round program and also a summer camp program for the youth. Your participation will be greatly appreciated and valued !
How does my sponsorship help?
All contributions will be used specifically in building a self-sufficient program that teaches youth how to become farmers through a hands-on approach. It will provide a kid safe environment along with culinary aspects on how to cook freshly harvested foods. It will be a 2-4 acre plot with greenhouses for winter growing techniques and include enough space for kids to learn about poultry and livestock.
This summer camp program for kids will include field trips to other farms which increases diversity in growing crops in Louisiana. This is a major contribution from you because this program is also to raise awareness on the fight of imported foods from other countries to our grocery stores. We are partnered with non-profits that will allow major contributions/donations for tax-deductible purposes.
